About
Nurse Rachel’s Dose Tracker was created by Rachel Moskowitz as part of a project she did in her social studies class about the current nursing shortage and how it affects nurse burnout. Her brother had strep that winter and her mother couldn’t remember whether or not she had given him his PM dose of liquid antibiotic. Thus the Dose Tracker was born.
Rachel has donated Dose Trackers to women’s shelters near her upstate New York home town, helping mothers in need care for their children. Rachel, currently a high school student, plans to go to college to become a pediatric nurse practitioner. In her spare time she enjoys baby sitting, volunteering as a camp counselor, helping teach CPR with her local volunteer ambulance, and swimming. |
